Cache la Poudre Fire & Emergency Group
Cache la Poudre Fire and Emergency Group (CLPFEG) is the 501(c)(30 arm of the Poudre Canyon Fire Protection District. It was formed solely to raise and provide resources on behalf of the fire district. This organization was established in 2005 by a group of canyon residents who were deeply concerned by the ongoing struggle the fire district faced for funding. CLPFEG focuses on fundraising to support the fire and emergency services in the Cache la Poudre Canyon.
Some of the items CLPFEG has purchased or helped to purchase for the department include:
- Backup generator for Station 1
- Backup generator for Station 2
- New Station 4
- Snowplow for Station 2
- Mitigation Tool Library for Station 1
- Stump Grinder for the Department
- New ambulance for Station 2
